VISVIM HARMONIOUS PROCESS ＠Ron Herman

A special exhibition will be held simultaneously at 3 Ron Herman store locations in Nagoya, Kobe and Fukuoka to commemorate the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of the brand called "VISVIM HARMONIOUS PROCESS" hosted by visvim and will showcase one of their unique processes for creating products.  The event will exhibit elements from this process and also have special exclusive items for sale.  The focus of this exhibition will revolve around "Mud dyeing" a natural dyeing method that has been passed down for generations on Amami Oshima in Kagoshima Prefecture.  Through the exhibits and products, we will introduce details of the dyeing techniques alongside their great appeal.  This process is well known as a traditional craft, and one of its historical applications is the renowned Oshima Tsumugi.  Additional exclusive items will be available for sale in conjunction with the exhibition taking place at these Ron Herman locations.  A limited booklet created especially for this exhibition titled, "Addendum to the Dissertation / Doro-Zome (Mud-Dyeing)" (16 pages / Full Color / B5 Size / Saddle Stitched Binding) will be passed out at the event venue for people who are in attendance. ＊  We hope you will drop in for a visit.

A classic wide silhouette with red selvedge finishing.  The natural looking damaged finish is applied by the hands of craftspeople one garment at a time.

A custom 12oz. Denim Jacket with Damaged Finish details.
The fabric is woven together with a yarn that expresses a natural unevenness, due to a careful selection of raw materials and spinning methods that result in a rich textured appearance.  Red Selvedge finishing.  The damaged finish is done by the hands of craftspeople one garment at a time.  All componentry including the rivets are custom developed.
