ROSEBUD BOOTS

We have continued to make this boot since the inception of the WMV brand in 2013, refining them little by little over time. I had never seen a pair of women's boots made with a Handsewn Goodyear Welted Construction anywhere else. It was my first encounter with shoes that were made with this construction method, and I clearly remember being astonished by just how comfortable they were. Thanks to the fact that this construction method utilizes minimal adhesives these boots offer excellent breathability and the stacked leather heel provides exceptional stability to ensure all day comfort where your feet won't tire from prolonged wear. Furthermore, the outsoles could be replaced when they became worn allowing one continued use for a long time.

For this season's version we chose to go with an Italian Vegetable Tanned Horsehide. A material that develops a rich expressive character as it softens and molds to your feet over time. Although the material is rather thin, it offers excellent durability. We also redesigned the shaft and opening to provide more room, which makes these boots easy to put on and take off. At this point I have been blessed to own quite a few pairs of these boots that I've worn to the point they become perfectly soft and broken in. It truly brings me joy whenever I meet someone else who loves wearing their boots just as much as I do. I look forward to wearing this new pair as often as possible so I can break them in from scratch.
